Who is the BC Cancer Agency?

The BC Cancer Agency, an Agency of the Provincial Health Services Authority, provides a comprehensive cancer control program for the people of BC and Yukon, including prevention, screening and early detection programs, research and education, and care and treatment.
Each year, over 23,000 British Columbians are diagnosed with cancer. More than one in three British Columbians will develop some form of cancer in their lifetime. British Columbians experience the lowest rates of cancer incidence and the lowest rates of cancer mortality, anywhere in Canada.
