This year, 3,975 women in B.C. will be diagnosed with breast cancer, it's reported to account for around 25% of all new cancer cases in women. But BC Cancer is working to stay one step ahead of the disease. In fact, mortality rates have decreased around 44% since 1987. With donor support, clinicians can continue to advance research and treatment options.
