Legacy Senior Living – The Leo Wertman Residence has great pleasure in welcoming you to the BC Cancer Foundation’s 2019 Hope Couture luncheon and fashion show. We are delighted to be a continuing partner in supporting the Foundation’s goal to raise funds for the creation of a Pancreatic Cancer Rapid Access Clinic at BC Cancer.
For the over 800 British Columbians that will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year, time is precious. Every day BC Cancer’s team of experts races against the clock to confirm patient diagnoses and decide on the best course of treatment; but for most people it’s not happening fast enough.
BC Cancer’s vision is to create a rapid access clinic where specialist consults are consolidated into a single visit, testing is expedited, genetic profiling is performed at the time of diagnosis and new, more effective treatment options are explored. It will also inform pancreatic cancer research, helping to pave the way for future cutting-edge breakthroughs.
Together, with your generous support, we can bring new HOPE to British Columbians affected by pancreatic cancer.
Legacy Senior Living – The Leo Wertman Residence is honoured to be a part of this worthwhile fundraising cause.
