Join us for an inspiring tour of BC Cancer – Prince George (Centre for the North), where renowned clinicians and scientists are transforming a once-remote centre into a hub for precision radiation research and culturally safe cancer care.
Led by Dr. Rob Olson, Executive Medical Director for Prince George, and the Indigenous Cancer Control team, this interactive experience will highlight how we’re accelerating access to life-saving treatments for Northern communities. You’ll hear firsthand about initiatives like SIMPLIFY—a cutting-edge international clinical trial that reduces travel barriers for patients who may otherwise journey up to 12 hours for care.
We will also explore how BC Cancer – Prince George is expanding culturally safe care for Indigenous patients and families—an area of growing importance for many organizations with operations in Northern B.C.
