Double Your Impact
Until October 31, your gift will be matched to help bring life-saving technology to BC Cancer.
Today, you have a powerful opportunity to double your impact for British Columbians facing cancer.
Until October 31, Peterson and the Yeung family are generously matching donations to support the BC Cancer Foundation’s Technology Transformation campaign.
Every donation to the Technology Transformation campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to an incredible $1 million.
Cancer diagnoses in B.C. are expected to increase by 33% over the next decade, due to an aging and growing population.
To meet these challenges, BC Cancer Foundation has launched a Technology Transformation campaign to equip BC Cancer with state-of-the-art diagnostic, imaging and treatment technologies, including:
With these advanced technologies, BC Cancer clinicians and researchers can detect cancer earlier, deliver personalized treatments and accelerate research to improve outcomes for families across British Columbia.
With one in two British Columbians facing cancer in their lifetime, the disease impacts everyone.
Like so many families, cancer has personally affected Ben Yeung and Jane Young.
Their family experienced firsthand the exceptional care that BC Cancer offers. First, with their late mother Rose, following her breast cancer diagnosis — her care that not only extended her life but also gave her precious time with her loved ones. Then, through Jane’s own personal journey with breast cancer shortly after her mom’s diagnosis.
To honour both their late parents — the founders of Peterson — and their legacy of giving back, Ben and Jane are committed to matching your donations and bringing hope to thousands of other families in British Columbia.
“Cancer has touched the lives of many — including our own family, friends, and community. With your support, we can help more families stay together and share in many more moments of healing and connection.”
– Ben Yeung and Jane Young, Peterson
Donate by October 31. Every dollar stays in B.C. to advance world-class cancer care.
