The BC Cancer Foundation has been recognized as one of BC’s Top Employers for 2026. This is the first time the Foundation has received this designation, which celebrates organizations across the province that lead in workplace culture, employee well‑being and progressive people practices.

BC’s Top Employers evaluates organizations based on ten criteria, including workplace environment and atmosphere, training and skills development, health and family-friendly benefits and policies, vacation and time off, and community involvement.

- Progressive time‑off policies, including four to five weeks of starting vacation (depending on employee group) and additional paid days off during the winter holiday period
- Comprehensive support for growing families, with maternity and parental leave top‑up for all parents‑to‑be and the option to phase in a return to work with gradually increasing hours
- A strong focus on employee health and wellness, including benefits coverage for mental health practitioners (up to $1,000 per year)
