Happy Holidays and Welcome Dr. Kirpal Kohli

The holidays are in full swing at the BC Cancer Foundation! December is a very special time, when donors from around the province make contributions to cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency in honour of loved ones and in hope of a bright future for cancer patients and their families.

I encourage all of you to consider the BC Cancer Foundation in your holiday giving, and to send an online message of hope for the holidays.

I’d like to thank our November guest blogger Dr. Dan Renouf for sharing with us all the many reasons we have for hope and the swiftly changing landscape of pancreatic cancer, both here in B.C. and around the globe.

Dr. Kirpal Kohli is joining us as the final blogger for 2012. Dr. Kohli is the Professional Practice Leader for Medical Physics at the BC Cancer Agency in Surrey and has had an accomplished career in biomedical engineering, research and education. In the coming weeks Dr. Kohli will share with us the ways in which cancer diagnostic and treatment options are offering B.C. cancer patients the very best in technology and care.
