Introducing July Guest Blogger Dr. Janine Davies

Hi everyone,

I want to start by thanking Dr. Stephen Chia for sharing with us the impact that research is having on breast cancer outcomes in B.C., and the important ways donors are making a difference.

I’m very pleased to introduce our July guest blogger, Dr. Janine Davies. In addition to her role as medical oncologist at the BC Cancer Agency Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Centre for the Southern Interior, Dr. Davies is also principal investigator of the PREDICT project.

PREDICT, which stands for Personal Response Determinants In Cancer Therapy, aims to engage patients in the process of cancer research to improve care – I look forward to hearing from Dr. Davies on the progress being made in this fascinating area of research.
