Culturally Safe Care: Indigenous Patient Relief Fund
The Indigenous Patient Relief Fund provides Indigenous patients with cultural and financial essentials not covered by other health programs. These resources help Indigenous patients overcome the additional barriers they may face when accessing care, and help to enhance cultural safety at BC Cancer.

Enhancing Supportive Care at BC Cancer
BC Cancer’s Supportive Care services help patients and families navigate adverse side effects of cancer and treatment. They include programs like Patient & Family Counselling, Psychiatry, Nutrition and Speech Therapy.
Joanne Falvai shares the importance of these services in supporting her throughout treatment and into recovery.
