The BC Cancer Foundation is the bridge that connects philanthropic support and research breakthroughs in cancer knowledge.

As the fundraising partner of the BC Cancer Agency and the largest funder of cancer research in this province, we enable donors to make contributions to leading-edge research that has a direct impact on improvements to cancer care for patients in British Columbia.

As an independent charitable organization, we raise funds exclusively for the BC Cancer Agency that support innovative cancer research and compassionate enhancements to patient care.

About the BC Cancer Agency

The BC Cancer Agency provides a province-wide cancer control program for everyone in British Columbia and Yukon. It delivers the full spectrum of cancer care including prevention, early detection, diagnosis and treatment, research, education, supportive, and palliative care.

With world-class expertise found across its programs and research platforms, the BC Cancer Agency is a collaborative environment that fosters knowledge sharing and transfer. Research informs clinical care, and in return, clinical experiences inform research questions.

The BC Cancer Agency has six regional centres, located in Vancouver, Surrey, Abbotsford, Kelowna, Victoria, and Prince George. The Agency also includes two Cancer Research Centres, located in Vancouver and Victoria.

The BC Cancer Agency’s mission is to:

• Reduce the incidence of cancer
