Allan Wiekenkamp

Allan has spent the last 15 years as the chief financial officer and co-founder of Meritus Trust Company Limited, a licensed trust company and corporate services provider.  For the 5 years prior to Meritus, Allan was the managing director, founder and board chair of Family Office Reporting Solutions, a financial services firm specializing in the family office and high-net worth reporting sector.  Before that, Allan worked for 4 years with Ernst & Young and benefited from their management training program.  He also enjoys participating on investment committees and both private and advisory boards, focusing on real estate development, First Nations and his passion for entrepreneurship.

Allan is drawn to Foundation’s cause as cancer has impacted close friends and family members in recent years.  He is also passionate about health and wellness and can be found in the pool, on a Peloton, or on mountain bike or ski trails, trying to keep up with his wife and two children.

Allan previously served on the Board of the Vancouver Island University (VIU) Board of Governors (6 years/3 years as board chair), the VIU Foundation (4 years) and Innovation Island (BC Acceleration Network – 3 years).  He is a 25-year member of CPABC and was honoured to be a recipient of the CPABC early achievement award in 2010.
